Team Leader - Commercial Lines

The Team Leader provides a high level of support to team members, including Account Representatives, Account Executives and Sales Executives. This position will market new or renewal insurance business to contracted carriers. This position serves as the primary contact between the Agency and insurance carriers; requiring a significant degree of independent judgment and discretion.

• Ensures accuracy of account information for new and renewal polices and endorsements.
• Audits for accuracy in rating, typing, coverages and signatures.
• Markets both new and renewal accounts.
• Identifies account coverages that should be added or expanded.
• Maintains accounts and activities per Agency procedures.
• Serves as a mentor, positive role model and trainer to staff.
• Attends client meeting with or without Producer as needed.
• Other duties as assigned.

• Property and Casualty License
• 5+ years of experience in commercial property and casualty insurance
• Tech savvy; ability to navigate multiple systems including Agency Management Software; intermediate skills in Microsoft Office products
• Professional designations preferred
