Experience Requirement:
The candidate should possess extensive understanding of current repair and replace practices as well as understand the industry’s current trends in repair techniques. Being a self starter and having a strong ability to innovate and interpret data to drive results is required. Strong leadership skills that include effective coaching and collaboration is required. Direct Repair Program management at a national level is strongly preferred. Prior Auto Catastrophe Management is preferred. Ability to present issues in a highly professional manner and excellent verbal and written communication skills are also required. Solid understanding of regulatory environment and state status that affect the insurance industry and the proven ability to translate that knowledge into procedures is required. Computer proficiency is required in MSOffice and preferred in material damage vendor platforms.
Education Requirement:
A college degree, or equivalent, and a minimum of ten years of work experience in the auto material damage field is required.

Job Details:
Develop and manage strategies regarding the Direct Repair Program and the Independent Appraiser Program. Assure quality of Direct Repair shop performance and Independent Appraiser performance through data mining, scorecard management and feedback sessions which could include occasional site visits of key accounts. Develop strategy to ensure effective Catastrophe Management, including helping to build, maintain and update the Auto Catastrophe Policies and Procedures. Work with Claim leaders to augment internal auto damage reviewer results as it relates to work received via various trading partners and non-network shops. Work with Claim leaders to assure proper staff policy and procedures for use of the Direct Repair Program, Independent Appraisers and non-network shops. Negotiate pricing with various material damage vendors such as Independent Appraisers and drive accountability in billing accuracy. Assist senior leader(s) in areas of development regarding system enhancements, technology enhancements, vendor selection and management, and monitoring and departmental workflow as it relates to touch points within the Auto Material Damage area. Comply with the corporate goal of proper adherence to State and internal compliance requirements while managing expense and customer satisfaction.
