Experience Requirement: | Prior direct supervisory experience is preferred. Must possess a minimum of 5 years claims adjusting experience, preferably with bodily injury personal lines. |
Education Requirement: | A Bachelors degree or equivalent relevant work experience in the Property Casualty insurance industry is required. |
Position Requirement: | Exemplary verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills are required, as well as experience negotiating with insureds, claimants, body shops, etc. Strong organizational and leadership skills are required. Must be flexible and act as a change agent in pursuit of achieving organizational results, and be able to work effectively in a highly visible and fast paced environment. Ability to audit, ensure compliance, and provide effective feedback is essential. Computer proficiency is required, preferably with Word, Excel, and Lotus Notes.

Job Details: | The BI Claims Supervisor will be responsible for overseeing and leading the daily activities of a team of claim representatives in our Green Bay, WI office, specializing in bodily injury liability claims. Activities include ensuring state regulatory compliance, controlling severity, and managing expenses through proper claim investigation, evaluation, negotiation and disposition. This individual will manage staffing, employee relations, training and development, licensing, and performance management. They will also be an advocate for all components of our Value Proposition, seeing that it is upheld as a foundation to our culture, including a new level of personal accountability. The ideal candidate will lead by example and champion the engagement of others to provide exemplary service to our clients to improve client satisfaction and retention, including effective complaint resolution, and the ongoing pursuit of process and technological efficiencies. They will also be responsible for reporting and sharing product knowledge and coverage interpretation with their direct manager, peers and other leaders. |
