American Family Insurance to process hundreds of area storm damage claims

American Family Insurance received 178 claims as of late Tuesday — with hundreds more expected — for property damage from the storms that ripped through southern Wisconsin Monday night and early Tuesday.
Spokeswoman Sandra Spann said the company expected to process 1,500 claims from residents in Dane, Rock, Green and Grant counties over the next few days. Claims adjusters were surveying damage across the area, including twisted roofs and siding ripped off homes.
