Chicago Tribune - BP has paid more than $1.5 million in claims arising from a multistate recall of incorrectly formulated gasoline that damaged some vehicles mechanical components. The Times of Munster reports information BP sent to Indianas attorney general says the company had by Wednesday made payments totaling $1.52 million on 2,315 of the 15,965 claims its received. BP recalled about 4.7 million gallons of gasoline distributed in Indiana, Illinois, Ohio and Wisconsin last month. - Go To Story
