Conn. Panel Considers Martial Arts, Workers’ Comp For PTSD

Less than a year after the General Assembly legalized mixed martial arts matches in Connecticut, promoters of the sport are back at the Capitol pushing for what they call a minor tweak. An executive with Ultimate Fighting Championship, the world’s largest MMA promoter, told the legislature’s public safety and security committee on Tuesday that the law approved in 2013 needs a slight modification.
