Construction Worker Dies After Falling Five Stories

A construction worker was killed Monday morning when he fell 60 feet was getting married on Saturday. Chris Lord, 25, was a volunteer firefighter in Lodi. Lodi fire chief Bobby Annen told News 3 Lord always had positive things to say and was a hard worker. "He always saw the best in everybody," Annen continued. "He never complained and never did anything negative." Lord was taking classes to further his education and Annen said he knew Chris aspired to one day be an officer with the department. "He always had a smile on his face; he always made people laugh," Annen said.
