Crash damages N.C. Allied Churches shelter

A car crashed into the Allied Churches of Alamance County’s shelter Sunday after the driver suffered from a medical condition and lost control of the wheel. Just before 9:45 a.m. Sunday, the woman’s 1990 Honda Accord crashed into the east corner of the building at 206 N. Fisher St. in Burlington. She was traveling east on Trade Street near the Hall Avenue intersection when her car went off the road.
