A driver had to be rescued from Lake Loveland Wednesday afternoon. For some reason the driver, a 72-year-old Loveland man, drove right into the south shore of the lake. People who witnessed it jumped in to help, including one woman who says she saw a problem with the rescue, so she jumped in. “They were so busy trying to get him from underneath the steering wheel that they forgot to lift his head up,” the woman said. “So when I saw his head under the water the whole time I jumped in to hold his head up while they were able to get him out from under the steering wheel.
