Fatal Accident At Shreveport Refinery With History Of Incidents

A Calumet employee died Friday after being injured at the company’s Shreveport refinery, according to a statement released Friday afternoon. The employee’s name has not been released to the public. In their release, Calumet Specialty Products Partners LP said the employee sustained serious injuries on the job and was rushed to University Health hospital, where he died from his injuries. "We are deeply saddened by this incident and offer our thoughts and prayers to the employee’s family, and ask for privacy on their behalf at this difficult time," the statement said.
