Fired Dickson City, Pa. cop loses fight for disability pension

A former Dickson City police officer who was fired based on charges he illegally killed a deer and committed insurance fraud has lost a lengthy battle to obtain a disability pension from the borough.
The ruling by an arbitrator in the case of Thomas Logan is a significant win for the borough, which faced having to pay him about $39,000 a year for life, said Borough Manager Cesare Forconi.
