Florida Dealerships Targeted By Group Of Juvenile Thieves

Detectives believe the group of thieves who stole eight cars from a lot in Tampa last Friday might be connected to a theft in Brevard County more than a week ago. Titusville police detectives said they are still working leads in the case. Prespa Auto Sales owner Dannay Halimi is still shaking his head. His surveillance video captured 10 juveniles stealing cars off his lot, located on N. Florida Avenue. “I was kind of surprised to see it. I was in shock. Now when I look back at it, three days have gone by and I still can’t believe it’s happened,” Halimi said. The suspects rammed his gate, smashed the window to his office, stole the keys and then sped off.
