Food Truck Explodes In Miami-Dade Residential Area

A food truck parked outside of a residential area in Southwest Miami-Dade exploded Thursday morning. The incident happened in the 1900 block of S.W. 57th Pl., just before 8 a.m. According to officials, the food truck had a propane tank parked outside and somehow it exploded. "Our crews are on the scene helping to secure the propane tanks," said Miami-Dade Fire Rerscue spokesperson MIchelle Faved, "and we are going to send an investigator there to find out the cause of the explosion." The truck is a total loss, and two homes adjacent to where the truck was parked sustained minor damage.
