Ten people are without a home after their garage caught fire and caused more than $150,000 in damage Tuesday morning, police said. The fire started just after midnight at 4135 Baycliff Way in Oceanside. It quickly spread from the garage to the rest of the 2-story apartment complex. The blaze was put out just after 12:30 a.m., according to Oceanside fire Battalion Chief Bill Kogerman. “The fire destroyed the garage, damaged one vehicle and caused minor damage to the adjacent apartment building,” he added in a statement.
