Hit-And-Run Driver Chased Down By His Victim

A hit-and-run driver struck two vehicles Tuesday evening in Miramar before he was taken down by one of the victims and then arrested. The suspect first hit a vehicle in the 8600 block of Miramar Road before striking another car at the corner of Camino Ruiz and Miramar Road. The driver of the second vehicle, a City of San Diego employee who did not wish to be identified, said he followed the suspect to Activity Road where the suspect stopped his car and tried to run away to a nearby parking lot.
