The sweet scent of barbecue was replaced with that of wet grass Sunday as Bisig Impact Group employees attempted to salvage what they could of the Blues, Brews & BBQ festivals set-up. Overnight, strong winds damaged the festivals stage, and rain caused chaos in the open field where attendees had gathered beneath the Louisville Water Tower on Friday and Saturday. Within hours of the third days events, organizers announced they couldnt fix everything in time. They had to cancel Sundays shows. "Its flooded and just a mess out there," said Matt Willinger, director of public relations for Bisig, which produces the festival.
