Mill worker loses arm, gets it reattached

A Philomath mill worker lost his arm in an accident with a saw, but he got it back thanks to doctors at Legacy Emanuel. Oregon OSHA confirmed they opened an investigation into the incident that happened Monday at Mary’s River Lumber Co. Investigators said Jesus "Jessie" Cardonda Gonzalez had his arm cut off at his elbow. He was flown to Legacy Emanuel along with his severed arm. Hospital workers confirmed Wednesday doctors were able to reattach the man’s arm. He is currently listed in fair condition.
