Two people are in the hospital and at least one is facing charges after a moving truck ran off the side of Interstate 10 bridge Thursday night. State police said the truck was headed east when it crashed through the guardrail, fell off the bridge and burst into flames around 10:45 p.m. Thursday. Westlake Police Chief Chris Wilrye said Brandon Ziomber, of Chicago, is facing a DWI charge. Ziomber, 21, and a passenger in the vehicle were taken to Lake Charles Memorial Hospital after the crash. Ziomber was released. No information was available on his passenger. Authorities shut down I-10 eastbound for several hours following the crash.
