Plane Crash Near Ft. Lauderdale Executive Airport Leaves 4 Dead

Four people have died after a plane crashed in Florida near the Fort Lauderdale Executive Airport Sunday afternoon, according to Fort Lauderdale Fire Rescue. The Federal Aviation Administration said the Piper PA-31 aircraft had taken off from Orlando Executive Airport and was attempting to land at the airport in the 2200 block of West Cypress Creek Road around 4:30 p.m. when it experienced problems. It was unclear what kind of problems the pilot had.
