Proposed ergonomics standard would require employers to target MSDs

The Michigan Occupational Safety and Health Administration issued a draft ergonomics standard that would require employers in the state to take steps to address work-related musculoskeletal disorders. The proposed guidelines were finally released after years of legislative wrangling and protests by manufacturers and business groups that oppose the regulations.
