San Francisco Orders $2M Home’s Demolition

An emergency home demolition is underway in San Francisco near Mt. Davidson. There were concerns on Thursday that the house might slide onto another house down the hill below. The City’s Department of Building Inspection red-tagged the home and wants it demolished before the next round of wet weather hits. The neighborhood is full of large and beautiful homes, but this one in particular is located on the 200 block of Casitas Ave. KTVU has also learned that surrounding homes need to be inspected within the next 48 hours.
