Storms rumbled through North Texas on Wednesday night, pummeling some cities with hail and illuminating the skies with lightning.The severe weather overnight left piles of hail in yards and, in some cases, in houses with hail damage that broke windows. An EF-0 tornado in Haslet with winds up to 75 mph damaged a storage facility north of U.S. 287. The metal from damaged roofs blew about three-quarters of a mile away where several fences were damaged in a subdivision, according to the National Weather Service.
