At least seven people were injured and homes and businesses were damaged in northeastern Oklahoma after severe storms spawned a number of tornado touchdowns. The storms, which produced severe weather in Oklahoma, Texas, Louisiana, Arkansas and western Mississippi and western Tennessee on Wednesday night, continued pushing eastward Thursday. Ongoing severe weather is forecast for the day on Thursday, with northern Mississippi, northern Alabama and western Tennessee in the highest risk area. There were six reports of tornadoes late Wednesday in Oklahoma, Arkansas and Kansas, the Storm Prediction Center reported.
