One person was killed Sunday when a stolen ambulance crashed into 10 cars before overturning in a Greenbelt, Maryland, restaurant parking lot. The Branchville Volunteer Fire Departments ambulance was stolen at about 5:30 p.m. Sunday after its crew, having recently transported a patient to the hospital, stopped to check on the health of the driver of a car that had pulled off I-495.The cars driver then attacked the two-person crew and stole the ambulance, officials said. "The volunteer firefighter/EMTs were visibly shaken but not injured," said a press release from Mark Brady, spokesman for the Prince Georges fire department.
