Tenn. corrections officer accused of workers compensation fraud

The Madison County Grand Jury issued an indictment against Madison County correctional officer Saundra D. Bundy, 47, after she was accused of workers compensation fraud. Bundy was suspended today without pay pending the outcome of the indictment, according to a news release from the Sheriff’s Office. Bundy reported that she was injured while on the job, May 9, but the investigation revealed her claim was false and did not occur while she was on duty, the release said.
