Tornado Touchdown Confirmed In Southeast Wyoming

A tornado touched down in a sparsely populated area of Laramie County in southeast Wyoming on Sunday, the National Weather Service has confirmed. NWS says the tornado touched down around 1 p.m. about 7 miles east of Carpenter. The agency also received reports of funnel clouds in the area. There were no immediate reports of anyone being hurt or any major damage. However, there were reports of minor flash flooding in the area.
