Woman Sues Grocery For Negligence After Slip And Fall

A local grocery store is being sued by a woman who claims she was severely injured and has had to undergo several surgeries after slipping and falling on their premises. Samantha Aupied filed suit against Rouse’s Enterprises and its insurer in the 24th Judicial District Court on Nov. 7., 2014. Aupied alleges that on June 11, 2014 she was a customer at the Rouse’s grocery store located at 717 Clearview Parkway in Metairie when she slipped and fell on an unknown substance. The plaintiff contends that she sustained severe personal injuries including a fractured left foot, for which she has had thee surgeries since.
