Twenty-three year old Rogelio Cortez of Arlington was injured Thursday morning around 6:30 a.m. when he lost control of his pickup truck in the 1100 block of Fountain Parkway and crashed into a distribution center building.
Traveling east on Fountain Parkway, Cortez left the roadway and traveled more than 500 feet through the grass, over a cross street, struck a fire hydrant and a parked vehicle before crashing through the wall of the building.
The lone worker in the building, who was in a room adjacent to where the truck crashed, said the impact shook the entire building.
