This position performs data entry, monitors email boxes, workflow queues, interacts with staff and field resources, sets up and process claim assignments in keeping with defined guidelines, reviews and forwards communications. Candidate performs work at Genpact's Sandy Springs office location (Presently remote due to Covid scenario). Hours are 8 AM - 5 PM EST but may be required to work overtime, nights, and weekends, when workload increases or based on client demand.

Inviting applications for the role of Accounting Customer Service Representative – MRP – 5B

We are looking for someone with an excellent level of English and a passion for finding a solution for customers' tech problems.

Responsibilities

  • Answering phone calls with a nice, controlled voice, on a priority established by the team leader; Perform detailed research into payments received, cash application and AP provisioning, and payments made/to be made to external parties The purpose of this position is to communicate verbally and in writing with the clients/vendors and the related departments in order to collect the debt registered by them, according to the Standardized Operating Procedures and Work Instructions. Projecting a positive image of the company and brand; Implementing changes using your creativity and focus on process improvement; Correct and complete documentation of all customer interactions. Update Vendor details into Vendor Master System Sharing with all team members any relevant knowledge obtained through customer interactions. Attending training sessions. Arranging working schedules with colleagues flexibly, according to business needs. Successfully completing the training plan and passing the process knowledge test (PKT) on a regular basis. Provide assistance to new colleagues whenever possible. Inform the process trainers and the management team whenever the information in an SOP is identified as out-of-date.

Qualifications

Minimum qualifications

  • Very good knowledge of English Language Secondary school education. Accounting (AR/AP/Cash Application) experience Good MS Office knowledge with focus on experience with Excel Analytical thinking and self-starter. Willingness to work in shifts.

Encouraged qualifications

  • Relevant experience in phone customer service. High motivation and ability to learn. Ability to work under time pressure.
