Construction Property Underwriter

Overview: The Construction Property Underwriter will handle Builders Risk accounts out of the Chicago regional office. This person has established Builders Risk connections in the Midwest territory.
Functions:
• Develop agency/brokerage relations in the Midwest.
• Solicit and review new and renewal property submission from various production sources.
• Analyze submitted documentation according to company underwriting standards and guidelines and request additional information i.e. Engineering reports, CAT modeling, etc., as needed or required.
• Pipeline tracking and weekly forecasting of production.
• Tracking rate movements and loss activity within portfolio.
