Independent Insurance Adjuster

Locations: Lower Hudson Valley, Dutchess, Orange, Putnam, Rockland, Sullivan, Ulster & Westchester Counties. - Must currently hold active NY State Independent Adjuster License - Valid Drivers License - Willing to undergo background check - Solid customer service skills - Ability to efficiently & effectively handle simple to moderately complex property claims = Exceptional time management skills - Proficient in Xactimate, Simsol & Filetrac - Strong computer skills, inclusing MS Office & Excel - Promptly and effectively scope/evaluate property damages - Determine & review policy coverage - Adjust & estimate damages of property claims in utilizing software program - Complete an RCV/ACV evaluation of claim - Negoitiate settlement with policyholder - Diligently follow our client's standard of operating procedures - Maintain good working relationships with clients & agents in providing constant updates and keep them informed regarding their policyholders claims
