Job Summary
Under general supervision, plans and directs the security function. Develops, implements, and manages tactical and long range plans to provide courses of action which align with security service's strategic vision and organizational business objectives. This job is a manager.

Primary Job Duties & Responsibilities
Manages Security Teams to include Executive Protection details, Global Security Operations Center and Security Officer teams, and life safety programs at various locations. Develops plans, organizes and directs the activities of security personnel and ensures their actions comply with legal and regulatory requirements; meet corporate and customer needs. Develops and implements policies, procedures, standards, training and methods for identifying and protecting intellectual property assets, personnel, property, facilities, operations, or material from unauthorized disclosure, misuse, theft, assault, vandalism, product tampering, espionage, sabotage, or loss. Develops and manages business critical projects and programs with significant financial and/or legal impact on a corporate level. Develops and documents standards for measuring efficiency and effectiveness of security operations. Plans, develops and implements procedures to obtain, maintain, secure, analyze, account for, and provide information from assessment reports. Manages complex security improvement programs across the enterprise. Develops and maintains effective relationships with high-level public safety, law enforcement, intelligence and private sector counterparts. Provides senior management with accurate information pertaining to security and life safety events affecting corporate personnel and resources. Serves on senior level intra and inter-corporate committees and working groups. Understands the political nature of the organization and works appropriately within it; effectively establishes collaborative relationships and alliances throughout the organization. Establishes a work environment that emboldens an atmosphere of professionalism, participation, trust and commitment. As a manager, responsible for coaching, developing and performance managing staff. Other duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications
Minimum 12 years experience with a major law enforcement, intelligence, public or private sector security organization required.

Education, Work Experience & Knowledge
Bachelor's degree in a relevant area of study, or equivalent work experience required. Exposure in the private security arena of similar size, scope and complexity preferred.
