Senior Project Manager

Overview: The Senior Project Manager will oversee one or more projects within the Commercial and Agricultural Lines portfolio. The Manager has the authority to run the project on a day-to-day basis and is responsible for ensuring successful and on-time delivery of the project. Individuals that have a variety of project background, or experience in large companies, are encouraged to apply.

Functions:
• Define project scope, goals, and deliverables.
• Oversee, develop, and maintain automated project plans. Use project management tools to monitor tasks and resource assignments.
• Identify and mitigate risks and issues and communicate those to the stakeholder and senior leadership.
• Determine staffing requirements.
• Communicate project expectations to team members and stakeholders while promoting a collaborative environment.
• Develop and establish objective measures, standards, and procedures.
• Work on complex and large projects in terms scope, dependencies, risks, and impact.
• Make recommendations to leadership to improve project management practices and implement process improvements.
• Train other project managers.
