Senior Property Underwriter

Our client is a large global carrier that works with both retail and wholesale agents. Built on years of international literacy and operational knowledge, they are a powerhouse in the insurance industry. We are looking for a Senior Property Underwriter to underwrite Latin American accounts, but be located in Miami, Florida.

Title: Senior Property Underwriter — Latin America

Location: Miami, Florida (accounts in Latin America)

Overview: This individual will be bilingual in Spanish and English (Portuguese experience preferred as well) and will underwrite large accounts with a focus on Power Gen, Mining, and Construction related business.

Functions:
• Develop and underwrite a large accounts property portfolio.
• Develop new business and renewal submissions with a focus on Power Gen, Mining, and Construction.
• Read and assess engineering reports.
• Regularly meet with broker and risk managers/insureds.
• Assist in developing cross-marketing opportunities.
• Construct annual business plans and budgets for your territory.
