We are looking for a candidate with proven managerial skills to oversee a team of System Analysts in the creation and maintenance of a robust set of business rules for CorVel's enterprise applications. The role will require collaboration with our Business Operations and Development teams to identify and prioritize the most efficient solutions to meet the needs of our end users.

The ideal candidate will possess a background in Medical Bill Review and Claims Management software in the workers' compensation industry. You will serve your team by implementing efficient work processes to manage daily tasks. You will listen to and consider your teams input while making quick but educated decisions regarding the implementation of business rules. You will advocate for the teams personal career objectives, while considering budgetary and business requirements. You will have the patience to listen and understand, but the conviction to speak up and explain your decisions.

This position is remote, but must reside in the Pacific, Mountain, or Central time zone.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Manage and motivate a team of 4-6 System Analysts in their day to day duties.
• Assist the team in the creation and maintenance of complex business rules using our custom rules engine application.
• Create and maintain best practices for reviewing, triaging, prioritizing, and delegating the numerous requests that come to your team via various channels including: work order submission, software development project creation, E-mail requests, meeting action items, etc.
• Stay on top of weekly software releases that require your team's quality assurance testing expertise and business rules set-up.
• Attend and participate in meetings aimed to optimize the application of business rules across our various enterprise applications.
• Ensure the team maintains and shares key process and training documentation.
• Learn our business model and understand existing enterprise applications.
• Keep abreast of regulatory language surrounding State Fee Schedules and Medicare.

• Experience writing complex SQL queries to analyze business processes.

• Experience with PowerBI to represent key analysis metrics
• Experience with 3^rd party or proprietary rules engines
