Additional estimate amounts requested after hidden damage, code requirements, or scope changes are discovered after initial inspection.

Supplements are normal in property claims — opening walls reveals mold, engineers require additional bracing, or code officials mandate upgrades. Carriers review supplements with documentation and sometimes re-inspection.
