Snow and ice take car insurance claims up 23%

Car insurance claims are up 23% as a result of the severe winter weather conditions, AA Insurance has reported. Snow and ice have left motorists colliding with a range of vehicles and stationery objects, with incidents such as tail-end collisions at traffic lights or roundabouts and sliding into other road users the most common.
