Louisiana Citizens Insurance claim faulty wiring job caused house fire

The Louisiana Citizens Property Insurance (LCPI) claims that a heating company is liable for a house fire that damaged a New Orleans home, according to a suit filed in Orleans Parish Civil District Court. LCPI is suing Blum Thermal Services, Kenneth Blum and the Lafayette Insurance Company on behalf of LCPI policy holder Cara Ogg. New Orleans attorneys Rene Paysse Jr. and Thomas Anzelmo Jr. filed the petition for damages Jan. 10.
