When shopping carts started to fly, Patty Dunklin knew what was coming next. The carts outside a Family Dollar store in Theodore where she works zipped across the parking lot, pushed by roaring winds, she said. It was dark outside, and nearly pitch-black inside with no power. “We knelt down in the middle of the floor and started praying,” said Dunklin, who hunkered down with another assistant manager.
