A deputy responding to a call of an alligator in a residential neighborhood met the gator, for quite a while. According to the Alachua County Sheriff’s Office, it happened around 7 p.m. Sunday in Gainesville. The gator, nearly as long as the deputy’s car, did what alligators do when something’s coming at them...he used his powerful jaws to clamp down. The gator grabbed hold of the deputy’s front bumper and refused to let go.
After a while, someone started recording video, watching as the deputy began to back up with the gator in tow.
