Storms Cause Damage in Luzerne, Schuylkill Counties

Tuesday night’s wicked weather caused a lot of damage in Schuylkill and Luzerne counties. The storms caused a barn to collapse on 500 Valley Road in Walker Township -- near Tamaqua. It happened around 8:30 Tuesday night. About 40 cows were trapped inside while emergency crews worked to free them from the wreckage. All the cows were rescued and are okay, but the barn was destroyed.
