Several areas in northern Utah have flooded and a flood warning is in effect for other areas in the northern and central parts of the state. Flooding has already affected areas in Kaysville, Logan, Layton, Syracuse, Taylorsville, West Bountiful and West Flood warnings are now issued for Davis, Juab, Morgan, Piute, Sanpete, Sevier, Summit and Weber counties. Officials are concerned about warmer temperatures in the weather forecast for this week because they could cause the heavy mountain snowpack to melt.
