Mill Valley condo developer charged with insurance fraud

A Mill Valley property developer was arrested Wednesday on charges he filed claims with two insurers for the same fire damage at a condo project in Reno, authorities said. Bijan Madjlessi, 55, of Strawberry was taken into custody by state investigators at his office at the Marin Commons complex in San Rafael. Bail was set at $750,000, and Madjlessi was released on bond.
