Emergency crews rushed to 11th Street and Mulberry in the West Bottoms after a six-story building partially collapsed just after 10 a.m. Firefighters arriving at the scene reported that four people were able to safely escape. KMBC’s Peggy Breit reported that the four people work for Mark One Electric, which was renting the space. "I heard a rumbling noise and all of a sudden, just a big cloud of dust came rolling in," said worker David Price. "I heard this very loud bang and all the lights went out and red dust was pouring everywhere," said worker Larry Goodman.
