14 Vehicles Pile Up In Massive Crash On I-90 In Bellevue

 Thursday, July 21, 2011

A massive crash involving 14 vehicles, including a semitruck and a log truck, blocked westbound Interstate 90 in Bellevue, snarling traffic all the way back to Issaquah during the morning commute and hours after. The Washington State Patrol said the crash occurred when a semitruck jackknifed and struck a log truck. At some point, the log truck lost its rear axle and other parts, but the driver was able to pull the truck to the shoulder. Logs partially fell off the rig, leaving large drag marks and scattering wood debris across the interstate.
