As a massive sinkhole inches closer to a pair of Onslow County homes, residents say they’ve been left out to dry by the county when it comes to fixing the problem. The sinkhole spans two properties on Raintree Road near Jacksonville. A large underground drainage pipe cracked as Hurricane Irene made landfall, creating a pool 10 feet deep and 25 feet wide.
