Officials with the Colorado State Patrol are asking for the publics help in finding the person responsible for leaving a soil-like substance behind on Interstate 70 Monday morning and causing a series of wrecks. Ten cars and two motorcycles were involved in the crashes, and the eastbound lanes of the highway were completely closed for a little more than 2 hours. It happened just after 6 a.m. near the Kipling exit and later on emergency officials moved the closure back to Ward Road. There was also a similar problem that caused an accident where eastbound I-70 merges with Interstate 76.
