Weddings On The Brink, Fire Destroys Union Bridal Shop Before Couples Tie The Knot

It took 3 months to plan Gwendolyn Bishop’s wedding. She and her fiance will both be married for the first time this Sunday. All of her sisters will be bridesmaids. So will her daughter. And all of them searched the state to find the perfect wedding gown and the bridesmaids dresses, in deep blue, before taking them to Barbara’s Bridal in Union for alterations. They were supposed to pick up those dresses, ready to wear, on Friday morning. Early Wednesday morning, Barbara’s Bridal burned down. All of the dresses are gone.
