Sinkholes Form At Marion Schools, Home

After a weekend of heavy rain, sinkholes formed at three Marion County schools and one home, where a sport utility vehicle was swallowed. The school board said the most serious is at the bus loop of Ward Highlands Elementary School. The other two are at Vanguard High School and Howard Middle School. Both are in retention pond areas and have been roped off. All three schools will remain open. Meanwhile, Beth Antis, said her family is waiting until Tuesday to try to tow her Dodge Durango out of the huge sinkhole in her driveway.
