2 deadly crashes cause major backups on I-4 in Seminole County

A pair of deadly crashes caused a mess on Interstate 4 in Seminole County late Wednesday. Charges are pending in the first crash, a fiery, four-car pileup on westbound I-4 near Lake Mary Boulevard just after 6 p.m. According to investigators, Chemwapuwa Jackson, 31, failed to notice traffic stopping in front of her, and slammed into the back of another vehicle, causing a chain reaction. A passenger in the second vehicle was killed, and the driver was taken to Orlando Regional Medical Center in critical condition.
